that yet again, Spencer has been reassigned to a new project/position. Yes, 3rd one in the year if you happen to be keeping track. So, when did this come about, you ask...
Well, about mid-July, Spencer started hearing rumblings and about a week later, he was approached by the Project Manager of Norway Capital Projects and was given a "choice"...okay, not really... he was told that they really needed him to take charge of this particular area because he happens to have experience (thank you, United Space Alliance.) He is now working on a systems integration project that is critical for many areas. Oh, and the best part...he has 6 months to get this organized and completed. No pressure...
So, after a month of 'hand-over' to the person taking his last spot, he is now officially back in the main building (yes, an office and building move again) on the systems integration deal.
We look at this two ways...on the one hand it stinks because he never seems to finish what he starts, but on the other hand, it also means he is well-liked, versatile, and in high-demand. We will call that job security! :)
In other news...Kyla had her first horse-riding lesson today! She was in heaven and had the silliest grin on her face the entire time :) They learned to get on and off the horse, use the reins to direct, and walked around the arena. At the end, they even got to trot for a few minutes. She also got to walk the horse, Speedy, to and from her stable. It was fun to watch her!
Speedy was the smallest horse of the 4 in the class, but she was perfect for Kyla. Kyla was just on top of the moon!
Have a great week!
