Air Shipment Arrived

Ahhhh, feeling a little more at home today after our air shipment was delivered and unpacked! The best news, I found a home for everything with room to spare for when the sea shipment arrives! YEA!!!

The kids have already been out to ride their scooters and we even went for a short bike ride - me on foot, since I have not purchased a bike here yet. Then at dinner, I used my favorite pizza pan and my own pizza cutter (way better than the one that was here!) Definitely nice to have my own stuff!

The only big glitch - a nice sized scratch on the flat screen tv we shipped. And yes, it shows...total bummer! We are going to file a report and will hopefully receive compensation, but I didn't catch it right away when the guy unpacked it - don't know for sure when it happened...packing in Katy, when customs unwrapped and re-wrapped, or at unpacking today...kind feel like it happened at customs, but can't prove it, of course. It will still be fine for what we mainly will be using it for, which is playing the Wii, but still really stinks!

Otherwise, it was a beautiful day here! Spencer was in Oslo today for business, so he had a very long day - early flight out this morning and late flight back home this evening. He is so happy to have his guitar here now though! He could hardly wait to get his hands on it and tune her up!
